| Arequipa, to the foot of the Misti, beautiful snowy cone of more than 5,500 mts., it is surrounded of majestic volcanos, in one of those which was in fact worldwide to the famous "Mummy Juanita". Located to 2360 meters high on the level of the sea, in the buttresses of the Peruvian Andes, it is the second city of the Peru.
Arequipa is known as the "City Blanca" for the special whiteness of the "ashlar", abundant volcanic stone for this area, with which its magnificent temples were built, as that of The Company; convents, as that of Santa Catalina; and palaces, as that of Huasacache, also well-known as the Founder's Mansion. Their beauty, their special light and their landscapes capture the visitor.
In the Department of Arequipa it is located "The Colca", the deepest and beautiful canyon in the world, cradle delCondor. The heights that surround it are populated of auquénidos there being you transformed by it into the first center producer and wool exporter, mainly of German nickel and the fine Vicuña.
